Configuring an Import/Export Device

This section outlines steps for configuring an import/export device.

For specific properties, see the CygNet Help sections for individual import/export device types.

To Configure an Import/Export Device

1. Using CygNet Explorer, right-click in the DDS pane and select New Import/Export Device,
2. Click on the type of import/export device you want to add. (If you right-click on an existing import/export device and click New, that import/export device type is used as a template.)
3. Edit the import/export device properties and click OK. (OK saves a record and closes it. Apply saves a record and keeps it open.)
